ECHO is inspired by our sister company Mammoth Audio. Before we had the brewery set up, Mammoth Audio used our tanks to create a sample pack for musicians by physically hitting the empty vessels with a range of objects. Whilst what they created was an unwavering success in a musical sense, one striking and lasting image was a boxing glove on a stick being whacked against our hot liquor tank.
ECHO is our latest IPA; a big, juicy, hop forward beer, with a hazy body and silky mouthfeel that neatly balance out the hop-aggression. We’ve coupled big late-kettle additions with a massive dry hop to give a great complexity of hop flavours and aromas. The liberal addition of flaked oats into the mash tun helps give this bold beer a true sessionability. At 6.2%, ECHO is a sipping beer that tricks you into gulping.
Echo is unfiltered with a natural haze (meaning it is suitable for vegans) and best enjoyed when stored cold and drunk as fresh as possible.
